CEWR is expected to determine the price of natural gas for "Bulgargaz" for the month of March

The Commission for Energy and Water Regulation (CEWR) will decide on the price of natural gas sold by "Bulgargaz" in the month of March during a meeting that will be held in the afternoon.

The preliminary proposal of the public supplier is for a price of BGN 119.33 per MWh.

However, during the open meeting of CEWR, which took place earlier in February, the company's representatives expressed confidence that if the trend for the TTF index continues downward, the gas price will be 10% lower than the proposed one.

The Chairman of the Commission for Energy and Water Regulation Ivan Ivanov, for his part, calculated that in this situation the price of the blue fuel supplied by Bulgargaz to the company's customers will be below BGN 110 per MWh without excise duty, taxes and VAT.
