Fund of Funds and Bulgarian Stock Exchange to Support Bulgarian Innovative Enterprises Again This Year

The Fund of Funds and its fund managers are strategic partners of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange (BSE) under the Beamup Lab program. For the fifth consecutive year, they are hosting the first of four meetings in the program, which in this edition took place on January 16, the Bulgarian Stock Exchange announced on its website.

During the event, the Fund introduced Bulgarian business companies to the various financing opportunities through the instruments provided by the European Union (EU). The Executive Director of the Fund of Funds, Biser Petkov, highlighted some of the latest priorities in the new program financial period, as well as new financial instruments that are available to entrepreneurs. This was announced today by the Bulgarian Stock Exchange, quoted by BTA.

Representatives of the 19 participating companies had the opportunity to learn about the mechanisms for financing small and medium-sized companies, the legislative and regulatory framework with EU support, as well as the role of the Fund of Funds in the new programming period.

"We are convinced that companies will receive valuable practical information in this fifth edition to implement in their business development strategies. We are pleased that over these five years, nearly 100 companies have already joined the program and considered the capital market as an opportunity for financing and growth," said Manyu Moravenov, executive director of the Bulgarian Stock Exchange during the event, quoted in the announcement.

Five companies also participated in a kind of investor pitch (presentation to investors - author's note), including Avtoikonom and the company's executive director Emil Stavrev. The company connects corporate fleets, large leasing companies and service providers into a single platform for interaction, communication and digital management of customers, fleets, services and operations.

Taxi me CEO Hristo Chernev also joined the investor session to present one of the best-developed online taxi ordering platforms, which has been on the market for 12 years.

Fabrico was presented by its CEO Blagovesta Pugyova. Through the company, companies can digitize all maintenance processes in their plant and benefit from powerful tools for preventive and reactive maintenance.

Konstantin Haralampiev, in his capacity as CEO, presented Agrovar CC, the first Bulgarian company that focuses its efforts on regenerative agriculture and sustainable soil fertility management. The team aims to assist agricultural producers in improving soil health.
