MRDPW begins payments to municipalities under concluded contracts for housing renovation under the PVP
530 contracts have been concluded under Stage I of the procedure, invitations for all approved projects under Stage II will be sent by the end of the month
In January 2025, the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works begins making payments to municipalities under concluded contracts for financing buildings under the procedure "Support for Sustainable Energy Renovation of the Residential Building Stock".
The process of concluding contracts with municipalities under Stage I of the procedure for the renovation of multi-family housing, which is being implemented with 100% grant funding, is also in its final phase. As of 10.01.2025 Of all 746 project proposals approved for implementation for energy renovation of residential buildings in 101 municipalities, 530 contracts have been concluded at this stage. The remaining 216 projects are in the final phase of the negotiation process. This was announced by the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works.
54 invitations have already been sent to 18 municipalities to sign contracts under Stage II of the procedure, in which the owners of the approved 282 projects in 51 municipalities co-finance 20% of the energy renovation. 5 decisions have been issued to provide grant aid, which is the last step before concluding a contract.
The Acting Minister of Regional Development and Public Works is optimizing the organization of the work, after a significant delay in implementation was found. Invitations will also be sent to all approved candidates under this stage of the procedure by the end of the month.
During the negotiation period, the MRDPW repeatedly indicated, encouraged and motivated the municipalities to take action to organize the process of announcing public procurement for the selection of a contractor and to optimize the work on preparing the construction activities so that the projects could be implemented within the deadline set in the PVP - 30.06.2026. Constant communication with the municipalities shows that the majority of them have concluded contracts with a selected contractor and have started activities envisaged under the procedure.
