Prime Minister Glavchev: We are ready with the budget for next year, the eurozone is a priority
The Prime Minister participated in the solemn celebration of the 133rd anniversary of the establishment of the Military Medical Academy in Sofia
We are ready with the budget for next year. The Ministry of Finance has presented the measures that are envisaged to maintain the 3 percent deficit, which is our benchmark, so that we can enter the eurozone. This was stated by Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev to journalists in connection with the preparation of the state budget. The Prime Minister pointed out that it cannot be submitted taking into account the non-working parliament.
The budget is submitted after the political situation is clarified, Glavchev added. According to him, it would be best if a regular government was formed, which would accordingly submit the budget for next year. According to the Prime Minister, it is risky to submit a budget in a pre-election situation, because in such a case it could be blown up. We are ready for any options, we have presented the measures to the political forces and are waiting for the development of the situation, the Prime Minister said. In response to a journalist's question, Glavchev said that at the moment there is no danger of losing money under the Recovery and Sustainability Plan.
Prime Minister Glavchev called on politicians in parliament to find the right tone, to start talks that would first lead to the election of a Speaker of the National Assembly. Who would have thought that we could end up in such a situation - after all, the idea was to have uninterrupted work in the National Assembly, and it cannot start, Glavchev pointed out.
Today, the Prime Minister participated in the solemn celebration of the 133rd anniversary of the establishment of the Military Medical Academy. Prime Minister Glavchev extended his congratulations to the hospital team. We are all respected by your professionalism and exceptional qualifications, the Prime Minister pointed out. Glavchev added that next year's budget includes the funds necessary to purchase the special medical robot for the needs of the Military Medical Academy.
