Kozloduy NPP is organizing an open day on October 5

On October 5, 2024 (Saturday), the Kozloduy NPP opens its doors to all those wishing to get acquainted with the work of the Bulgarian nuclear power plant. During the event, you will have the opportunity to see one of the following objects - Block Five, Block Six, or a Full-Scale Simulator - an exact copy of the command room of Block Six. For this purpose, it is necessary to register in advance in the period from 27.09.2024 to 02.10.2024 inclusive, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., on the following phones:

The program for the day starts at the Information Center, where our experts will tell you about the operation of the nuclear power plant, you will see models and short educational films, you will have the opportunity to observe real demonstrations of work with fire-fighting equipment and measurements with the mobile laboratory for environmental monitoring environment. Visits to the command and engine room of Block 5 or 6 are carried out in groups of up to 20 people, and for the Full-Scale Simulator - up to 30 people.

On the Open Day, one hour before your scheduled visit time, you must register with an ID. Children and youth under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Entry times to the Kozloduy NPP are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. every half hour, and no visits will be made to the two units between 2:30 p.m. and 3:15 p.m.

Free bus transport from the town of Kozloduy to the Information Center is provided every round hour, starting at the "Briz" stop, from 07:30 to 16:00. Travelers with private cars will continue to the Information Center from the parking lot of the Checkpoint - Kozloduy, with the provided buses. The return is from the "Zavodski Stroezhi" stop every round hour from 09:00 to 18:00.
