The company Electrohold launches a 32 MWp photovoltaic plant near Pernik. Investors in the new capacity are Solaris Holding (a partnership of the Bulgarian-German SUNOTEC and the main shareholders in Eurohold) and Electrohold Tread EAD, a commercial operator.

Photovoltaic facilities are built on a landfill.

A 32 MWp photovoltaic plant is also accompanied by a 60 MWh electricity storage system.

The total area on which 56,889 solar panels are located is 304 hectares.

According to calculations, 571 thousand tons of CO2 will be saved from the operation of the new solar facilities.
