The participation of the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Dimitar Glavchev in the forum in Paris is another confirmation that full membership in the OECD continues to be among the main foreign policy priorities of our country, which enjoys broad political support and is not influenced by the dynamics in domestic politics plan.

The OECD currently has 38 member countries, including the most developed economies from Europe, North America, South America and Asia, accounting for 70% of global production and trade, 90% of global foreign direct investment and 45% of global GDP.

This year, the OECD Ministerial Council Meeting is chaired by Japan, with Mexico and the Netherlands as vice-chairs. The event is entitled: "Co-creating the flow of change: leading global discussions with objective and credible approaches to sustainable and inclusive growth". The Forum is an opportunity to engage in high-level discussions between member states and non-member states on issues of critical importance to today's international community.
