MRDPW: 165 concepts for Integrated Territorial Investments have been submitted

165 are the concepts for Integrated Territorial Investments (ITIs), submitted within the application period under the first procedure under the Regional Development Program - procedure BG16FFPR003-2.001 "Concepts for Integrated Territorial Investments (ITIs)". This was announced today by the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works.

6 programs co-financed by EU funds for the period 2021-2027 participate in the procedure with financial resources - "Development of regions", "Education", "Environment", "Development of human resources", "Competitiveness and innovation in enterprises ", "Research, innovation and digitization for smart transformation".

The concepts are to be subject to local public consultation, after which they will be prioritized by the Regional Development Councils in the 6 planning regions. In practice, this is the first procedure in implementation of the new integrated approach for territorial development in Bulgaria, supported by the cohesion policy of the EU.

A new call for applications with ITI concepts is planned for February 2024.
