Nearly 120 participants - representatives of municipal and regional administrations, industrial parks and other interested parties - took part in the online information day, which the Ministry of Innovation and Growth (MIG) held for the procedure "Program for public support for the development of industrial areas, parks and similar territories and for attracting investments ("AttractInvestBG"). The meeting was organized by MIG in its capacity as Monitoring and Reporting Structure (MRS), responsible for the implementation of investment C3.I1. from the National Recovery and Sustainability Plan (NRSP).

Experts from the Ministry's team provided the participants with detailed explanations regarding the application process and conditions, financing options, eligible costs, etc.

The procedure for supporting industrial zones and parks was opened for applications on June 2, 2023. The submission of proposals for the implementation of investments will continue until November 2, 2023 (5 months), being carried out entirely online through the ISUN 2020 system.

According to the measure, operators of industrial zones and parks - state, municipal, joint and private, newly created or existing - can apply for four activities: supply infrastructure, infrastructure internal to the zone, buildings for scientific research and construction of eco-infrastructure (charging stations for electric cars). The total budget of the measure is BGN 212.5 million, with the minimum amount of the grant per project being BGN 1 million and the maximum being BGN 40 million. Priority will be given to applicants in Northern Bulgaria, in order to reduce regional imbalances in the country.
