Magazine "Energy - Electric Power Perspectives"

The June issue of the ESO magazine "Energy-Electricity Perspectives" traditionally reflects the initiatives on the occasion of the professional holiday of those involved in the energy sector and adds conversations with a balance sheet and expert opinions on the processes that lie ahead.

We talk to the executive director of Bulgaria's electricity transmission operator, engineer Angelin Tsachev, about ESO's priority projects and progress in their implementation. In an interview with Dr. Teodora Peneva from the Institute for Economic Research at BAS, we are looking for the realistic date when our country will have a definition of energy poverty officially adopted by the National Assembly - a starting point for covering vulnerable households from support measures after the full liberalization of the market of electricity.

In the issue, we also talk with the executive director of BNEB about the new platforms that are offered with the aim of ensuring a transparent and non-discriminatory electricity market.

In the "ESO Expert Capital" column, we meet you with the managers of two of the five support points built in implementation of the electricity transmission operator's project for the digital transformation of network management systems in the conditions of low-carbon energy. The festive highlight of the issue is the professional holiday of energy workers, which every year in June becomes an occasion for taking stock and honoring experts with contributions to the development of the strategic industry. The director of electrical energy transmission at ESO - engineer Valery Ruzhin, was also awarded with recognition, who received the "Energy Engineer of the Year" award, traditionally awarded by BBKE on the occasion of Energy Day.

The holiday also became the birthday of the new life of "Energetika" magazine. For 4 years now, with a new name - "Energy - Electric Power Perspectives" and ambitious content, the ESO magazine strives to discuss and objectively discuss the current topics of the sector. The comments of support and high evaluation from the declared reader interest motivate us to add more valuable years of life to the magazine "Energetics - Electric Power Perspectives".
