Minister Pulev: MIG starts concluding contracts with 1,599 companies under the second procedure of the Recovery Plan

The Ministry of Innovation and Growth is starting to conclude contracts with 1,599 companies that have been approved for financing under the second procedure of the Recovery Plan, which has already closed for applications - "ICT solutions and cyber security". The first 750 invitations have already been sent to micro, small and medium enterprises in our country. This was stated by the Minister of Innovation and Growth, Alexander Pulev, on the occasion of the signing of contracts with the companies that began today.
"According to the procedure, co-financing from the companies will not be required. Depending on the stated needs, the companies will receive grants between BGN 3,000 and BGN 20,000," Pulev said.
We remind you that the procedure was applied for between October 2022 and December 2022, and more than 7,600 project proposals were submitted. In February 2023, 1,599 companies that won funding were announced and will receive a total of BGN 30.6 million.
Companies will have the opportunity to purchase software to optimize management, production and logistics processes, as well as to ensure better information and cyber security. The funds will also be able to cover costs for creating corporate websites, mobile applications, online stores, digital marketing, customer relations, business analytics systems, online employee training and web-based services for platforms and internal information sharing networks.
Invited applicants should provide evidence prior to the conclusion of the contracts in order to verify whether they meet the requirements for the final recipient of funds from the Recovery Plan.
Over 2,500 companies will receive financing under the first two procedures of the MIG Plan alone. Under the first procedure "Technological modernization" 911 contracts have already been concluded, and the others are yet to be signed.
