The Ministry of Economy and Industry will partner with the scientific community in the formation of policies and strategies in the sector
The Ministry of Economy and Industry and the Union of Economists in Bulgaria are starting joint work on the prepared policies and strategies in the economic sector. Today, the Minister of Economy and Industry, Nikola Stoyanov, and the President of the Union, Prof. Dr. Tatiana Hubenova-Delisivkova, signed a Memorandum of Strategic Partnership. A number of the most prominent scientists in the field of economics in Bulgaria participate in the organization.
"Today we provide the framework for our cooperation, and I believe that with the support of the scientific and professional circles, we will achieve a higher added value," stressed Minister Stoyanov. According to him, the problems and challenges facing the Bulgarian economy must be analyzed comprehensively and at a high professional level, which is why cooperation with the Union is so important. The Ministry of Economy and Industry and the Union of Economists will hold regular meetings and work together on policies related to the economic environment in our country, consumer protection, dual education, foreign economic and trade policy of Bulgaria, as well as the transformation of the Bulgarian economy in the transition to Industry 4.0 and climate neutrality.
"It is up to us to create the prerequisites for the modernization and competitiveness of the Bulgarian economy, so that more young people stay in Bulgaria and bring back those who are currently working abroad," the economy minister pointed out. The President of the Union, Prof. Dr. Tatiana Hubenova-Delisivkova, stated that it is necessary to achieve a higher quality and a better evaluation of labor in the field of economy, and they work consistently on this topic.
The official signing was also attended by Prof. Dr.Sc. Neno Pavlov, Deputy Chairman of SIB, Dr. Eng. Petar Neichev, Deputy Chairman of SIB, Associate Professor Dr. Vladimir Zanoviev, Director of the Scientific Research Center for Energy Business and Infrastructure of UNSS; Assoc. Dr. Viktor Yotsov, member of the SIB and IIkI at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Assoc. Dr. Petya Branzova, member of the SIB and IIkI at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, Chief Assistant Dr. Yana Palova, member of SIB and IIkI at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, and Venelin Yordanov, member of the Management Board of SIB and executive director of "Plovdiv Tech Park" JSC.
