The Ministry of Economy has launched a survey on the readiness of small businesses for the introduction of the euro
The Ministry of Economy and Industry launched a survey on the expected impacts of the transition to the euro on small and medium-sized enterprises in Bulgaria. From today until December 16, an online survey will be held on the institution's website, and the survey will also be distributed through specialized organizations, the department announced.
The results of the study will help the competent authorities of the Bulgarian administration to identify problems in the process of switching from one currency to the other from the point of view of the companies. The expected benefits for businesses from the adoption of the euro will also be taken into account.
The survey is anonymous and contains questions to clarify topics such as expected costs associated with adapting fiscal devices and changing accounting software. Information is also collected on staff training needs and other possible challenges facing enterprises in the process of introducing the euro.
Assessments from the survey will be used in the planning of strategic documents in the sector and will be taken into account in the preparation of legislative changes.
