A national electricity company has now been accepted as a full member of the European Energy Storage Association (EASE). The public supplier's request has been approved by the EASE Executive Council, the company announced.

The European Association for Energy Storage (EASE) was established in 2011 with headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. EASE represents approximately 60 members, including utility providers, technologies, research institutes, distribution network operators and transmission network operators and organizations working throughout the energy storage chain. EASE aims to promote energy storage to support a cost-effective transition to a sustainable, climate-neutral and secure energy system.

As a full member, NEC will participate in the general assembly, commissions and working groups, the opportunity to nominate a representative to the Executive Board, as well as in decision-making and the preparation of key documents.

For NEC, as a regional leader in the production and storage of clean energy, EASE membership is an opportunity to exchange experience and ideas with other companies in the sector to realize the goals of the Green Transition in the interest of society and consumers.
