Options for public investments in energy and the green transition will be discussed at a round table in Sofia

The Energy Management Institute, in partnership with the American Chamber of Commerce and the National Energy Chamber, is organizing a Round Table on the topic "The Green Transition - Investments in Technologies and Network Services", which will be held at the Intercontinental Hotel in Sofia at 9:30 a.m., the organizers announced.

The main emphasis that will be placed during the event is the direct connection between the need to ensure urgent public investments in the electricity network and the possibility of successfully realizing the Bulgarian green transition.

The keynote speech of the Round Table will be by the Secretary General of Eurelectric Christian Ruby.

Introductory speeches will be made by the Minister of Energy Rosen Hristov and H.P. Lukasz Kautsky, Ambassador of the Czech Republic, which is the rotating President of the Council of the EU.

Among the main speakers are also the chairman of the Commission for Energy and Water Regulation Ivan Ivanov, Michael Lally, head of the American mission to the EU of the US Department of Commerce in Brussels, the executive director of the Electricity System Operator Angelin Tsachev.

The program provides enough time for discussions. Representatives of state institutions, trade unions, business organizations, commercial companies, NGOs, etc. are invited to participate.
