Deputy Prime Minister Pekanov and Minister Pulev open the forum "Big money for small business"

The Deputy Prime Minister for European Funds Management Atanas Pekanov and the Minister of Innovation and Growth Alexander Pulev will open the event "Big money for small businesses: Financing opportunities under the Recovery and Sustainability Plan" in Sofia on September 12.

The information meeting will be held in the "Royal" hall, "Balkan" hotel in the capital, reports the Ministry of Innovation and Growth.

The event is organized by the Executive Agency for the Promotion of Small and Medium Enterprises /IANMSP/ under the Ministry of Innovation and Growth. It will also include the Chief Director of the General Directorate "European Funds for Competitiveness" Iliyana Ilieva and the Executive Director of IANMSP Boyko Takov, as well as experts from DG EFK.

Micro, small and medium-sized enterprises will be presented with the first procedure for Bulgaria from the Recovery and Sustainability Plan - "Technological Modernization". It is currently open for applications until September 21 and has a budget of BGN 260 million. Depending on the size, micro, small and medium enterprises in the country can receive between BGN 180,000 and BGN 700,000 for new equipment, technical modernization, software etc.

Minister Pulev's team will also present details about the programs that will be launched by the end of the year under the PVA and the EU structural funds in the total amount of BGN 735 million, of which BGN 600 million are under the PVA.

Attendees will be able to engage in a Q&A session.

We remind you that on 30.08.2022, Deputy Prime Minister Pekanov and Minister Pulev held an online event on the opportunities for small and medium-sized businesses, in which over 1,500 companies participated.
