The association of heating companies warned that a cold winter awaits us if the necessary quantities of natural gas are not provided. "If the necessary quantities of gas are not provided in the winter, it is possible that there will be no heating," said the chairman of the association Kremen Georgiev on bTV. He added that the compensations for heating were not paid in June and July, and the last sums were received in May.

Unfortunately, there is no alternative to natural gas. If the heating system is designed to use natural gas, nothing can replace it. Fuel oil is an emergency fuel and it can only be used for 10 days, as it pollutes," reminded Georgiev.

"The behavior of the outgoing government has led us to this situation of not having gas. Even if these mythical 7 tankers are delivered, they will not be enough," DPS deputy Petar Chobanov said again to bTV.

According to him, our country continues to supply Russian gas through intermediaries, at a higher price. He emphasized that at the moment we do not have enough secured quantities of gas to meet the needs of consumers.

"We risk being left in the cold in the winter", gave an alarming warning in confirmation of what was said by the heating companies and the politician.

Chobanov pointed out that the position of DPS is clear. In the short term, all possibilities must be used so that there is no shortage of gas, and in the long term - to achieve 100% diversification.

A day ago, the leader of GERB, Boyko Borisov, listed as part of his party's priorities the adoption of a law for 100% diversification of the gas received from Gazprom, and for the interim government to announce a tender for long-term supplies of blue fuel.

At the same time, AIKB warned that not only will there be no heat in the winter without gas, but also that businesses will cut 250,000 jobs because of the fuel crisis.
