Minister Nikolov to take part in the eighth ministerial meeting of the Advisory Council for the Southern Gas Corridor
The Minister of Energy Alexander Nikolov will take part in the eighth ministerial meeting of the Consultative Council for the Southern Gas Corridor, which will take place on February 4, 2022 in Baku, Republic of Azerbaijan, the press center of the Ministry of Energy announced. The forum will be opened by President Ilham Aliyev and EC Energy Commissioner Kadri Simson.
Meanwhile, Azerbaijan is already preparing for the eighth ministerial meeting of the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council.
EU Commissioner for Energy Kadri Simson, EU Enlargement Commissioner Oliver Varhei and senior officials from the United States, Britain, Turkey, Georgia, Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, Albania, Croatia, Hungary, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia are expected to attend. , Northern Macedonia, Moldova, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ukraine and Turkmenistan. In addition, the meeting will be attended by representatives of energy companies BP, BOTAŞ, TPAO, TANAP, TAP, SNAM, Fluxys, İCGB, Romgaz, SACE, SGC, Enagas, Uniper, TotalEnergies, Equinor, LUKOIL, as well as the World Bank, the Asian Bank for Development, the EBRD, the EIB and other structures.
Representatives of ACWA Power (Saudi Arabia) and Masdar (UAE) will also take part in the meetings.
