Radev to Aliyev: We rely on the partnership with Azerbaijan in moments like the one with rising gas prices

The prospects and opportunities for further development of cooperation between Bulgaria and Azerbaijan, including in the field of energy and natural gas supplies, were discussed in telephone conversations by the Presidents of the two countries Rumen Radev and Ilham Aliyev. The Bulgarian head of state stressed that Azerbaijan has proven to be a reliable partner for our country in a difficult time of significant increase in energy prices on international markets and Bulgaria highly appreciates the bilateral partnership.
The reason for their telephone conversation was Aliyev's 60th birthday. The Bulgarian President expressed his congratulations and expressed hope for the continued upward development of bilateral relations, to which Aliyev has made a huge contribution.
Radev renewed his invitation to his Azerbaijani counterpart to visit Bulgaria at a convenient time next year.
