New 3 regular direct flights from Plovdiv Airport will start operating this week. As of today, the second largest city in Bulgaria will be connected by air with London. Flights to Dortmund and Memmingen start on Saturday.

There will be flights to and from the British capital 3 times a week - on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. Flights to both German cities will be on Tuesday and Saturday.

The new airlines are opened by the low-cost airline Wizz Air, which for the first time starts operating scheduled flights at Plovdiv airport. Tickets are already on sale and can be booked through the carrier's website or mobile app. Prices start from BGN 28.99 in one direction and include an administrative fee and small cabin luggage.

With the launch of the winter schedule 2021/2022 and our cooperation with Wizz Air, the flights on international scheduled routes increase from 3 to 12 per week, and the served destinations from 1 to 5. In operational terms, Plovdiv Airport is in full operational readiness and the flights will are serviced in accordance with the appraisal standards ", commented the executive director of the airport Plamen Spasov.
