Epidemic Emergency to Be Extended until August 31
Prime Minister Boyko Borissov said at a news conference on Monday that the state of epidemic emergency in Bulgaria, prompted by the spread of COVID-19, will be extended by a month until August 31 by order of Health Minister Kostadin Angelov.
"We will extend the state of emergency due to the pandemic by one more month to make the measures work," Borissov said.
The government unveiled a new 2 billion leva package of socio-economic measures to overcome the coronavirus crisis.
