Bulgargaz: The estimated price of gas for December is BGN 106.96 per MWh
The estimated price of natural gas for December is BGN 106.96 per MWh or EUR 54.67 per MWh, Bulgargaz reports. As it is clear from the announcement, this is over BGN 60 below the estimated price on the European gas markets.
In compliance with the requirements of Art. 36a of the Energy Act, Bulgargaz EAD notifies its customers that the estimated price of natural gas for December 2021, formed in accordance with Art. 17 of Ordinance № 2 of 19.03.2013 for regulation of natural gas prices, is BGN 106.96 / MWh (excluding prices for access, transmission, excise and VAT) or 54.67 EUR / MWh, calculated according to the BNB fixing .
The estimated price for December 2021 is based on the estimated values of the price-forming components as of 11.10.2021. For comparison, the estimated price on the European gas markets (as of 11.10.2021) for deliveries in December 2021 is approximately at 86 EUR / MWh or 168.20 BGN / MWh, according to Bulgargaz.
A final proposal for approval of the price of natural gas for December 2021 will be submitted for approval by the EWRC on 01.12.2021, taking into account the quotations of the price-forming components as of 30.11.112021.
As it is known, the price of gas approved by the EWRC for October is BGN 94.54 per MWh without prices for access, transmission, excise and VAT. The forecast of natural gas for November, announced earlier by Bulgargaz, is BGN 84.39 per MWh (excluding access prices, excise and VAT) or EUR 43.15 per MWh.
For comparison, at the moment the price of November futures on the TTF index on the ICE Futures exchange is 86..85 euros per MWh and this morning trading started at a price of 82.25 euros per MWh
