The energy exchange within the trade "market day ahead" closed at a price for basic energy (1 - 24 hours) of BGN 181.56 per MWh and a quantity of 63 468.80 MWh with a delivery date of August 15, 2021, according to trading data.

The price of peak energy (9-20 hours) is BGN 180.13 per MWh, with a quantity of 33 771.70 MWh.

The off-peak energy (29 697.10 MWh) is at a price of BGN 182.98 per MWh (1-8; 21-24 hours).

The exchange starts at an average price of BGN 201.76 per MWh and a quantity of 2140.3 MWh.

The highest price of electricity traded in the segment "market day ahead" was achieved at 22:00 - BGN 259.4 per MWh with a quantity of 2785.1 MWh.

In 24 hours the price of traded electricity in this segment is BGN 215 per MWh with a quantity of 2545 MWh.

Compared to the value of BGN 189.22 per MWh or EUR 96.75 per MWh for August 14, 2021, the price of traded electricity with a delivery day on August 15 decreased to EUR 92.83 per MWh (down 4.0%), according to www.energylive.cloud, or BGN 181.56 per MWh according to IBEX data.

The achieved price of IBEX is lower, but also comparable to the one registered at OPCOM and HUPX (Romania and Hungary) - EUR 94.13 per MWh and SEEPEX (Serbia) - EUR 96.15 per MWh.

Prices on Western stock exchanges, as before, remain much lower - in France - 51.78 euros per MWh, and in Germany 61.94 euros per MWh.

The prices achieved on the Iberian Stock Exchange (OMIE) are much higher - 110.02 euros per MWh.

For trading in the market segment "Within the day" on August 14, 2021 the total traded volume at the time of publication of the information is 2 602.20 MWh at a weighted average daily price of BGN 211.31 per MWh.
