Small and start-up businesses can attract up to 60,000 euros to invest in the blue economy

Open from July 27 to September 8 is the application under the Danube S3 Cluster for small and start-up companies to invest in the blue economy, part of the Intereg-Danube program.

The blue economy encompasses economic activities related to the oceans, seas and coasts. Various enterprises operate in it - from those with activity in the marine and river environment to enterprises on land, which produce goods and services related to the maritime economy. The blue economy includes many promising early-stage enterprises, often set up with the support of EU-funded research and development programs. These companies develop solutions in the field of renewable energy, sustainable seafood, blue biotechnology, marine information technology and much more.

Therefore, the program offers SMEs the opportunity to apply for funding for their ideas and to join the program to accelerate the blue economy by applying in the open window in DigiCirc Blue Economy.

Approved small and medium enterprises, as well as start-ups will receive up to 60 thousand euros without capital funding for SMEs / start-ups, 3 useful digital tools and data to facilitate the digitalization process, will create strategic European partnerships, will receive individual business coaching support , support for thematic mentoring provided by industry experts.

The application deadline is open until 8 September 2021 at 17:00 CET (Brussels time).
