BCCI presented its traditional Annual Awards for Business Achievements for the 31st time
At a solemn ceremony held yesterday, December 3, at the Sofia Balkan Palace Hotel in the capital, the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry presented its awards to companies, a branch organization, a regional chamber/chamber, an ambassador, a trade representative, media and journalists who worked for the development of business in our country and for the coverage of the positions of the BCCI and its members during the year.
The event was attended by over 200 people, representatives of state institutions, including the Minister of Economy Dr. Petko Nikolov, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Policy Lazar Lazarov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Elena Shekerletova, Deputy Minister of Health Dobromira Kareva, Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Policy Natalia Efremova, representatives of diplomatic missions accredited in our country, industry organizations, regional chambers of commerce and industry / chambers members of the BCCI, individuals and organizations from the country and abroad, partners of the Chamber.
The winners of the BCCI "Top 100" Ranking are determined based on numerous objective criteria, indicating the sustainability of the company and the success of management.
The following 5 companies - large, medium, small and micro enterprises - were awarded a bronze statuette "Hermes" accompanied by a diploma:
The Chairman of the BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov awarded "Neomash" EOOD as the most successful micro enterprise during the year - category "Top 100 micro enterprises, ranked by maximum volume of sales revenue, maximum profit, as well as maximum profitability of sales revenue, profitability of assets and profitability of equity for the last financial year (complex indicator)".
The award in the category "Top 100 small enterprises, ranked by maximum volume of sales revenue, maximum profit, as well as maximum profitability of sales revenue, profitability of assets and profitability of equity for the last financial year (complex indicator)" was presented by the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Policy Natalia Efremova to "Gravis Bulgaria" AD.
The Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Policy Lazar Lazarov awarded the company "Bultex 99" EOOD in the category "Top 100 medium-sized enterprises, ranked by maximum volume of sales revenue, maximum profit, as well as maximum profitability of sales revenue, profitability of assets and profitability of equity for the last financial year".
The Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of the BCCI Krasimir Dachev presented the award in the category "Top 100 large enterprises, ranked by maximum profitability of assets and maximum profitability of capital (complex indicator)" to "Samap Limited, Bulgaria Branch", CCC.
The company "Bei Glass Bulgaria" EAD was the excellent in the category "Top 100 large enterprises, ranked by maximum volume of sales revenue, maximum profit, as well as maximum profitability of sales revenue, profitability of assets and profitability of equity for the last financial year (complex indicator). The award was presented by the Minister of Economy Petko Nikolov. In his speech to the audience, Nikolov thanked the Bulgarian companies for the efforts they put into their development and informed that with the current growth rates of our economy, Bulgaria ranks within the top 10 countries in the EU.
Lachezar Iskrov, a member of the BCCI Executive Board, presented the “Hermes” statuette and a diploma in the “Industry Organization” category to Solar Academy Bulgaria.
In the “Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry/Chamber” category, the Ruse Chamber of Commerce and Industry received an award for its significant business activities during the year. The award was presented by the Deputy Chairman of the BCCI Board of Directors, Dr. Vasil Todorov.
H.E. Zakia El Midaoui, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Morocco to Bulgaria, was awarded by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Elena Shekerletova in the “Ambassador” category for her services to the development of economic relations between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Kingdom of Morocco, and for her contribution to the achievement of the goals and objectives of the BCCI.
Kon Linyu, Trade Representative of the Embassy of China in Sofia, received an award for his active work in connecting Bulgarian and Chinese business from the Chairman of the BCCI Tsvetan Simeonov. In his welcome speech, Linyu pointed out that over the past ten years, trade between the two countries has increased by 130 percent and this is a good sign for Chinese business. He reminded that direct cargo flights have already been opened between the two countries, trains on the China-Europe line now reach Bulgaria, and Bulgarian citizens will now be able to visit China without visas for short stays.

In the “Media” category for active and objective coverage of the positions of the BCCI and its members on current economic issues, this year the Bulgarian Telegraph Agency was awarded. In the “Journalist” category, an award for the same contribution was received by Viktor Dremsizov and Maria Konstantinova, co-hosts of the morning news block “Bulgaria Morning” on Bulgaria ON AIR television.
