On November 8, representatives of CETIN visited one of the largest FECs in Bulgaria - "Verila". They visited the local substation and toured the photovoltaic park, learning about the green energy production process. The tour was hosted by managers from the commercial company Electrohold Trade, which sells the electricity produced by the plant, the main contractor SUNOTEC, as well as representatives of the owners 360Energy and Eurohold.

The Verila FPP, with a capacity of 123 MW, was officially put into operation in June 2023. The plant is located on the southern slope of the Verila mountain next to the village of Kraynitsi near Dupnitsa, on an area of over 1,300 decares. Its location at 700-1000 m above sea level on uneven terrain with steep slopes makes the project one of the most challenging and attractive in Europe.

Yettel and CETIN entered into PPA contracts with Electrohold Trade to purchase green energy from the plant for a period of 10 years. This is one of the largest corporate PPA contracts in Bulgaria to date, which will provide respectively 80% and about 86% of the total consumption of the two companies.
