Any NGO can receive up to BGN 53,000 in "non-aid" European funding free of charge
With a total budget of BGN 8,600,000, a new procedure was opened under the "Technical Assistance" Program, which offers an exceptional opportunity for all civil society organizations to apply and receive maximum funding of up to BGN 53,000.
This is the first non-aid procedure for civil society organizations, which aims to increase the knowledge and skills of their employees and members of their governing bodies for their more active participation in the process of preparation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the programs of The partnership agreement, ensuring the application of the partnership principle. The "non-aid" regime does not require the submission of a declaration of state and minimum aid, which makes it easier for applicants.
Eligible candidates are all civil society organizations, regardless of the field of activity, established on the basis of the Law on Non-Profit Legal Entities and registered for public benefit at least 2 years before the submission of the project proposal, with headquarters on the territory of Bulgaria.
Among the activities that will be financed under the projects are: participation in trainings and formal networks of civil society organizations in Bulgaria and in EU member states; organization of events for the transfer of knowledge on key topics acquired as a result of participation in the trainings; organization of trainings, with external experts; development or purchase of software tools in connection with the implementation and monitoring of the programs from The partnership agreement[1], etc.
The deadline for submitting project proposals is 17:00 on 28.11. 2024, and the maximum period for the implementation of the approved projects is up to 18 months, but no later than December 31, 2027. The application is completely online through the ISUN system by submitting a web-based form.
For more information, three online information days are planned: September 25, October 1 and October 8, 2024. Registration forms and links for participation will be published in the procedure section of the Unified Information Portal www.eufunds.bg.
