There are three new names in the official cabinet headed by the new - old Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev. The place of the previous Minister of Internal Affairs Kalin Stoyanov will be taken by Atanas Ilkov.

Transport Minister in Georgi Gvozdeikov's place will be Krasimira Stoyanova, and Ivan Kondov is proposed as Foreign Minister. This became clear after the presentation to President Rumen Radev of the names of the new Council of Ministers by Dimitar Glavchev, who was appointed acting Prime Minister.

Later, in front of journalists, Glavchev justified the appointment of the new acting interior minister Atanas Ilkov with the need for professionalism and less politics, Ivan Kondov with the successful handling of his duties, and Krasimira Stoyanova with the problems in BDZ, especially recently. "We saw on social networks passengers pushing a train," Glavchev reminded.

The head of state, for his part, approved the composition of the next cabinet and said that he will issue a decree on its appointment as soon as tomorrow.

"I want to congratulate you for heeding the calls and expectations of the public to reduce political tension and strengthen guarantees for holding fair and free elections, which is the task of the caretaker government. As early as tomorrow morning, I will issue a decree appointing your proposed government. I expect that the same day he will take an oath in front of the National Assembly", said Radev.

The President also announced the date of the early elections - October 27. "Tomorrow I will also issue a decree to hold early parliamentary elections on October 27," said Radev.

During the meeting, President Radev also raised the issue of putting forward a candidate for European Commissioner. The candidate for acting prime minister Glavchev, for his part, commented that the name of the future European commissioner will be proposed after consultations with the people's representatives.
