5,388 PCR Tests Confirm 210 COVID-19 Cases, Bringing Bulgaria's Total to 13,722
The number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Bulgaria reached 13,722 after 210 infections were confirmed in the 24 hours until Tuesday midnight through 5,388 PCR tests, according to data posted on www.coronavirus.bg. The active cases are 5,097.
Currently, the hospitalized patients number 861, including 64 in intensive care. The total number of infected medical staff is 763.
Recoveries in the last 24 hours number 174, bringing the total to 8,154.
Twelve more fatalities were reported, bringing the total death toll to 471.
Sofia City tops the list with 59 newly confirmed cases, followed by Plovdiv with 31 and Blagoevgrad with 24.
A total of 313,866 PCR tests have been performed since the first cases were diagnosed on March 8.
