Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 53 new cases, total rises to 13396
The newly confirmed coronavirus cases in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 53 out of 1275 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on August 10 shows.
The new cases were reported in the following districts of the country: Blagoevgrad – 5; Varna – 2; dobrich – 7; Kyustendil – 1; Montana – 2; Pazardzhik – 7; Plovdiv – 14; Smolyana – 3; Sofia city – 8; Shoumen – 3; Yambol – 1.
The total number of lab-confirmed cases in Bulgaria to date is 13396, including 5177 active.
The number of recovered patients is 54 in the past 24 hours bringing the total of recoveries to 7772.
There are 849 Covid-19 patients in hospital, 54 of them being in intensive care.
A total of 749 medical professionals have tested positive for the virus. No new case was reported over the past 24 hours.
Two Covid-19 associated deaths were reported in the past 24 hours. The total of fatalities rose to 447.
