The Electricity system operator has a new website with a modern vision for the benefit of investors and consumers

An electronic geographical map with the Electricity system operator (ESO) sites - www.eso.bg, illustrating the operational possibilities for connecting new generating capacities, is part of the new functionalities of the website. The new ESO website provides users with a wealth of information from various areas of the company's work and easy access to all services offered by the independent transmission operator.

An essential functionality in the new ESO website is the electronic geographical map with up-to-date information on the operational possibilities for connection of producers and consumers of electricity. The electronic card is designed in order to orient investors in new generating capacities. The map will be updated periodically with information about the newly connected sites to the transmission network, as well as about the decommissioned ones. The purpose of the electronic application is to help investors and industrial consumers.

The modern vision of the new ESO website comes in response to the dynamic realities in the energy sector, which pose the need for a new approach to communication. The new website of the independent electricity transmission operator of Bulgaria provides quick access to a wide range of information about the company's activities. A special video shows a picture of the country's power transmission system and the newly built 400 kV power lines, implemented by ESO within five projects of common European interest and co-financed by the "Connecting Europe Facility".
