US provides almost $ 1 million for modernization of Toplofikatsiya Sofia

The United States is providing a grant of nearly $ 1 million to modernize the debt-ridden municipal company Toplofikatsiya Sofia. The grant agreement was signed between Mayor Yordanka Fandakova, US Ambassador to Bulgaria Hero Mustafa and Ino Ibong, head of the US Trade and Development Agency (USTDA).

At the end of April, it became clear that the money would be received from the Sofia Municipality, which is obliged to hire the American company "Black and Witch Management Consulting". The latter is obliged to study the condition of the Sofia steam room, namely the possibilities for complete reconstruction, recovery and recapitulation. As 20% of the project budget can be used for the participation of local legal entities and experts.

The analysis should be prepared within a year and give a vision with possible options for the complete restructuring of the operation, the financial one.
