Miroslav Damyanov and Alexander Nikolov are the new Deputy Ministers of Energy, appointed by Prime Minister Stefan Yanev, the press service of the Ministry of Energy announced.
Miroslav Damyanov has more than 40 years of experience in the electricity sector, 7 of which are in management positions. Alexander Nikolov has long managerial experience in the field of telecommunications, finance, investment and capital markets. He was the executive director of a venture capital fund, he managed strategic projects developing innovative financial technologies. Master of Finance from UNWE. He has lectured on futures, options and investment management. He has additional qualifications aimed at digital transformation of the business, and is currently working on a dissertation topic in the same field.
