Valentin Nikolov is already the head of BEH, a lawyer becomes chairman of the board of Kozloduy NPP
Former MP and chairman of the Energy Committee in Parliament Valentin Nikolov is the new head of the Bulgarian Energy Holding. The chairman of the board of directors of BEH is already Diyan Dimitrov, who comes from the board of directors of TPP "Maritsa East 2". This is clear from the documents submitted to the Commercial Register after a decision of the Minister of Energy.
The other three members of BEH's board are Ivan Andreev, former head of Kozloduy NPP, Stelian Koev, former CFO of Maritza Iztok Mines, and Alexander Tsarnorechki, who was a spokesman for BEH years ago. All of them successfully went through the three stages of the procedure for selecting new members of the board of directors of the state holding. The results have not yet been officially announced on the BEH website. The website of the Agency for Public Enterprises and Control also does not show information about the completed competitions for participants in the board of directors.
Apart from BEH, the composition of the new directors of Kozloduy NPP is already clear. Nasko Mihov, who is still the executive director of the plant, remains at the helm. Iva Eduard Nikolova, a lawyer at Dimitrov & Partners Law Firm, became Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kozloduy NPP. The other new board member is Iliya Iliev. The current deputy director of the nuclear power plant, Alexander Nikolov, retains his post. Former MEP from GERB / EPP Vladimir Uruchev is also on the board.
For the other state energy companies in the structure of BEH no information has been submitted in the Commercial Register yet.
We remind you that the state has already determined after competitions who enters the board of directors of other energy companies under the auspices of BEH.
According to the competitions held so far, it is clear that the board of the gas supplier Bulgargaz has been completed - the current director Nikolay Pavlov, Ilian Dukov and Nikolay Donchev have been elected directors there.
The Supervisory Board of the gas operator Bulgartransgaz includes Snezhana Bobeva Yovkova-Markova, Nikolay Ivanov Stefanov and Stefan Milenov Iliev. Zhivko Dinchev remains director of the state-owned Maritza Iztok 2 TPP. Boyan Boev, who was the head of SEWRC, as well as Ruslan Germanov will probably join the board. The current board of directors of Mini Maritsa Iztok will probably be retained - Andon Andonov will be the boss again, and the members will be Nikolay Dikov and Georgi Koev.
Two candidates were also admitted to the director positions as representatives of the state in SE RAW. These are Margarita Korkinova and Dilyan Petrov. Both went through the three stages of the competition procedure.
