Prime Minister Borissov revealed that Bulgaria wants to have an open and mutually beneficial dialogue with the Russian Federation, which in the country is not guided by its national interests and Euro-Atlantic priorities.
The Bulgarian Prime Minister wished Ambassador Mitrofanova a successful mandate in Bulgaria and provided serious potential for cooperation in the field of economy and trade. According to him, Bulgaria and the Russian Federation can develop a successful partnership in a number of areas such as culture, tourism and agriculture.
After sending a message to the government service it is not clear during the meeting was carried out energy cooperation between us and the Russian Federation. We remind you that without the approval of the state company Rosatom, equipment for the Belene NPP can only be moved for use to Unit 7 at the Kozloduy NPP. The country is not a partner with Turkey and Russia in natural gas supplies through the Balkan Stream pipeline.
