Jump by 33.2%: The energy exchange closed at a base energy price of BGN 370.24 per MWh with a delivery day of October 25, 2021

The energy exchange within the trading in the segment "market day ahead" closed at a price for basic energy (1 - 24 hours) of BGN 370.24 per MWh and a quantity of 70,940.70 MWh with a delivery day of October 25, 2021, according to data from trade. This represents a jump of 33.2% compared to the closing price of the previous trade.

The price of peak energy (9-20 hours) is BGN 387.36 per MWh, with a quantity of 40 053.60 MWh.

The off-peak energy (30 887.10 MWh) is at a price of BGN 353.11 per MWh (1-8; 21-24 hours).

The exchange starts at an average price of BGN 301.22 per MWh and a quantity of 2346.2 MWh.

The highest price of electricity traded in the market segment "day ahead" was achieved at 20 hours - BGN 512.43 per MWh with a quantity of 2975.6 MWh. The value reported at 08-09 hours remains high - BGN 473.42 - BGN 475.86 per MWh.

In 24 hours the price of traded electricity in this segment is BGN 350.35 per MWh with a quantity of 2603.1 MWh.

Compared to the value of BGN 277.85 per MWh or EUR 142.06 per MWh for October 24, 2021, the price of traded electricity with a delivery day on October 25 increases to EUR 189.30 per MWh (a jump of 33.2%), according to www.energylive.cloud, or BGN 370.24 per MWh according to IBEX data.

For trading in the market segment "within the day" on October 24, 2021 the total traded volume at the time of publication of the information is 1 530.30 MWh at a weighted average daily price of BGN 228.23 per MWh.
