Two companies received investment certificates

The Minister of Economy Kiril Petkov presented a certificate for a priority investment project to Next.eGO Bulgaria and a class A certificate for EnduroSat, the press center of the Ministry of Economy announced.

The investment project of EnduroSat AD is "Expansion of the activity of EnduroSat AD through development and implementation of a shared satellite service". During the event, Minister Petkov said that for the first time a laboratory for nanosatellites will be built in Sofia. He added that they are small platforms that can send data to potential customers through special sensors after "walking" in space. The investment amounts to BGN 4,173,759. 29 new jobs will be created for the implementation of the project.

Pursuant to the Investment Promotion Act, Next.eGO Bulgaria AD also received a priority certificate for the project “Construction and management of an innovative plant for the production of electric cars e.GO in the town of Lovech”.

The investment project "Construction and management of an innovative plant for the production of electric cars e.GO in Lovech" provides for the creation of an innovative plant for electric vehicles based on the principles of Industry 4.0 for development, engineering, industrialization, testing, production, marketing, distribution, service and sale of four-wheeled vehicles and parts for private and commercial use.

The plant will be located on a total area of ​​65,000 square meters. The amount of investment amounts to BGN 280,000,000.

During the presentation of the certificate, Minister Petkov announced that the construction permit for the plant will be taken this year. The Minister of Economy expressed satisfaction that despite the aggressive deadlines he has set, things are happening much faster. During the implementation of the investment project and as a result, it expects to create up to 1,000 new jobs when the plant starts operating at full capacity. It will initially start with the opening of 365 jobs.

Since the beginning of 2021, 18 class A certificates and 2 certificates for priority projects have been issued under the IPA. The total amount of the planned investments is BGN 1148.06 million and 2066 new jobs are expected to be created.
