The Minister of Transport has dismissed the head of the Port Infrastructure

The caretaker Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Georgi Todorov has relieved Angel Zaburtov of the post of Director General of the State Enterprise "Port Infrastructure", the Ministry of Transport announced.

By another order, Minister Georgi Todorov announced a competition for the election of a director general of a state-owned enterprise, in accordance with the Public Enterprises Act and the regulations for its implementation.

More information was not provided by the transport department for the dismissal of the director. The company is currently implementing a project to deepen the waterway under the Asparuhov Bridge in Varna. This is expected to improve shipping, even attract new cargo to the port of Varna TPP
