A working meeting on the Greece-Bulgaria gas interconnection was held in BEH

Specific steps for the timely commissioning of the IGB Gas Pipeline have been committed and are being taken by BEH, ICGB, Bulgargaz and Bulgartransgaz, BEH announced. However, concrete proposals have yet to be prepared.

The Executive Director of Bulgarian Energy Holding EAD Mr. Valentin Nikolov, the Executive Director of Bulgargaz EAD Mr. Nikolay Pavlov, the Executive Director of Bulgartransgaz EAD Mr. Vladimir Malinov and the Executive Director of ICGB AD Ms. Teodora Georgiev held a working meeting to discuss the development of the gas-Bulgaria interconnection.

The participants in the meeting reaffirmed the importance of the project for the Bulgarian energy and economy and undertook to consolidate efforts to take concrete steps for the timely commissioning of the IGB Gas Pipeline. After analysis and preparation of specific proposals, they will be presented to the responsible institutions, the holding said in a statement.
