Two former Kozloduy NPP bosses join BEH's Board of Directors

There are three ranked candidates for state representatives on the board of directors of the Bulgarian Energy Holding. The Ministry of Energy has published the list of those admitted to the ranking after the oral interview. Valentin Nikolov will be one of the three new members of the board of directors of BEH. He passed the three stages of the competition procedure after giving up his seat in the GERB party. Over the years, Nikolov was head of Kozloduy NPP, deputy energy minister and served on the holding's board of directors.

The other ranked is Ivan Andreev - a staff member of the nuclear field and former head of Kozloduy NPP. The third person admitted to the competition is Stelian Koev, who is the director of the Economy and Finance Directorate of the Maritza East Mines. Thus, at the moment everything will be in the hands of the principal of BEH - Ministry of Energy, which will decide which of the two Ivan Andreev or Valentin Nikolov to be executive director of the holding.

The other two seats on the BEH board will be filled by independent members, and the competition for them is led by the Agency for Public Enterprises and Control. There were five candidates for the second stage of the procedure. However, there is no ranking yet after the illness of the experts of APPK extended the term for the election of bosses.

Two candidates were also admitted to the director positions as representatives of the state in SE RAW. These are Margarita Korkinova and Dilyan Petrov, announced the Energy Ministry. Both went through the three stages of the competition procedure.
