After the end of the heating season, the reading of the radiators begins for the preparation of equalization bills for heating. A large part of the appliances must be accounted for individually, and the balancing bills will come in July at the earliest.

The first announced date is usually on a working day, and the second must be on a holiday. On these two dates, readings are free of charge. If the user fails to secure access within these two dates for the condominium, then billing can be requested, but at a set rate.

With the same consumption in one property, this year's payment amount will be greater than last year's. This was explained for BNR by Kremen Georgiev, chairman of the Association of Heating Systems.

The price of natural gas and the price for greenhouse gas emissions are the two components with the greatest weight in the pricing of the service provided by the district heating companies, Georgiev pointed out.

"Inflation has its impact, but in the non-fuel and emissions part. The first two components make up to 80% of all costs. The effect of inflation will not be much, although it will be there."

Natural gas is currently at a lower price, estimated last year on July 1, specified the chairman of the Association of Heating Companies in Bulgaria. He confirmed what the chairman of the energy regulator said a few days ago that a sharp increase in the price of thermal energy should not be expected:

"Personally, my expectation is that the prices of thermal energy will be maintained. This is of course an expectation, I cannot make calculations like EWRC. But given the whole situation with the energy market, I assume that the prices of thermal energy will not change or, if they change, it will not be appreciable, in whatever direction".
