Energy Minister Temenouzhka Petkova has conferred in Moscow with the Chairman of the Management Committee of Russian energy company Gazprom, Alexey Miller, Petkova's Ministry reported Tuesday. The meeting took place within a Bulgarian-Russian Energy working group meeting, which is part of the Intergovernmental Commission for Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation.
Petkova and Miller discussed bilateral cooperation in the field of natural gas. The two sides noted the stable and long-term partnership in natural gas transmission and supply, which has a history of over 40 years. Satisfaction was voiced during the meeting with the security of supplies from Russia, especially during the winter peak season.
The two sides also discussed opportunities for future cooperation in natural gas transmission and supply.
