Prime Minister Boyko Borisov presented Bulgaria’s potential for investments and industrial cooperation to the managers of 12 US companies, the government press office said. The companies are part of a trade mission organised by the Washington-based American-Central European Business Association. The businesses are interested in investing and expanding their activities in Bulgaria in the field of agriculture, pharmacy, technology and food.
The prime minister presented the measures taken by his government to improve business environment, reduce administrative burdens and lower business costs.
Presenting the priorities of the Bulgarian EU presidency next year, Borisov emphasised on the potential of the Balkan region and the need for partnerships and projects to secure the connectivity and economic development of the Balkan countries.
